ROTARY SCHOOL BIKE PROJECT

Just an update on our Rotary School Bike Project. Since our first bulletin in September, Wayne King has made further contact with Peacock Academy (K-3) and Queen of Peace Middle School (4-7). Permission has been received from the Newfoundland and Labrador English District School Board to place a bike in each school so two bikes were ordered.

The bikes have arrived! Peacock Academy and Queen of Peace Middle School are eagerly awaiting the arrival of the bikes. Some assembly is required. By the time we publish the next issue of the Rotary Buzz, students in each of the schools should have spent some time on the bikes. We will all be interested in receiving further updates over the next couple of months.

On October 30th the Bikes were delivered to the Schools and tested by some students.
